What They Did to My Foot in the Hospital
We get to find out if my questionable foot injury is going to keep me from dancing in my first recital at my new dance school!
Hello and thanks for being here! Today's entry is from May 21, 1991. We get to find out if my questionable foot injury is going to keep me from dancing in my first recital at my new dance school. If you've just found your way to my little corner of the interweb, welcome! (And read this entry first to find out more.)
I spend a considerable amount of time describing my physical therapy appointment at our local hospital. My senses were definitely turned on and I even draw a diagram of the ultrasound machine! Be sure to watch the video for the read-aloud, commentary, and journal prompt!
Enjoy a video read-aloud and commentary of today's entry!

Sarah here! I hope you're enjoying today's entry! That Was Rad is a reader-supported publication, and if you're able I would be grateful for your support, which will help make sure there's always a free version for anyone who wants some fun 80s and 90s nostalgia. Thank you!

I just love signing my entries by different names. Ha! These aren't people I know, I am literally making up names to try and make people think it's not my journal. Maybe I'll turn them into characters in a book someday!
For today's journal prompt, I'd love to hear about a time when you were really excited about doing something as a kid, but plans were foiled (or nearly foiled). Did you get sick the night before a birthday? Did you think you might get asked to a dance, only to have that person ask out someone else? Be sure to sign in to share!
You're so rad,
Sarah
