Step back into 1991 as my 12-year-old self writes a short story to help fill the final pages of my very first journal.
It's December 30, 1991. I'm still trying to finish my journal before the end of the year so I can (finally) start a new one. With only two days to go and, like, 20 pages left to write, I don't have that much to share about my day, so I decide to write a story!
Check out the video below for a live read-aloud of the entry plus commentary. One of my earrings may or may not fall out in the process.
Today's writing prompt is to help my 12-year-old self choose a title for this tale. I would love your thoughts. Sign in to share your ideas! I just might choose yours!
As a paid subscriber you get to join the conversation with other rad folks AND see pics of my actual journal entries in all my bubble-letter glory. See a sneak preview below!
It's important that we keep lots of fun, rad content for free, but the paywall helps make sure that everyone feels safe to share their thoughts in a safe space free from Judgy-McJudgersons. Come join the fun!
